اصطلاح ) On the one hand , adv

معنی ) از یک نظر ( دیدگاه )

توضیح ) معمولا با اصطلاح On the other hand  استفاده می شود. موقع خواندن استرس روی other  قرار میگیرد و در اصطلاح On the one hand  استرس (آوای بلند تر) روی one  قرار  می گیرد.

اصطلاح) On the other hand , adv

معنی ) از یک جنبه ( نقطه نظر) دیگر

مثال )the one hand they’d love to have kids , but on the other hand,  On

They don’t want to give up their freedom.        

مثال ) I'd like to eat out, but on the other hand I should be trying to save money.

کلمه )  give sth <-> up

معنی ) کاری یا داشتن چیزی را متوقف کردن.

توضیح ) دو عبارت up , sth  میتوانند جدا بشوند. give sth up , give up sth  هر دو صحیح هستند . با اسم می آید.

مثال ) She didn’t give up work when she had the baby.

مثال ) You ought to give up smoking.
